AMEX Centurion Lounge – LAS)

Since I had just written a post on a deal in Las Vegas, it reminded me of all the current events going on with the crazy city I can’t get enough of.

News had recently broke of the AMEX centurion lounge at LAS airport opening up complimentary access to include AMEX platinum card holders as well. This is big news since:

1. I’m a platinum card holder (yes!)
2. This is regarded as one of the best lounges in existence

This looks like it includes all variations of the Platinum card, personal, business, and Mercedez Benz personal platinum.

The reason it’s regarded as such a great lounge is because of the amenities it offers. Hot food prepared by an executive chef. Currently it’s Scott Conant. Drinks are also prepared by a professional mixologist (currently Jim Meehan). Admission normally costs $50/person, which is insanely high, even by lounge standards.

Lounge Details:
Location: Concourse D next to gate D4 View Map
Hours: 5:00am – 12:00am

I don’t currently have a trip planned to Las Vegas, but between this lounge and the Excalibur deal, I may have to book something soon.

If you’re in the area and have a Platinum AMEX, I highly recommend stopping by. If you want more information, the link to their site is: http://thecenturionlounge.com/las-vegas.html

More great news of Centurion lounges is that one is opening up soon in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) airport as well.

Have you been to either one before? What did you think of it?
